Basic details

Name: Our Lady of Miravalles Chapel (Miravalles)
Description: It is a 18th century temple. This chapel has got good proportions and one nave with three access, an annexed presbitery and chapel. It is covered with a barrel vault reinforced with transverse arches. The material that was used is the masonry in all the building except for the occidental facade, which was made of ashlar. A wide portico supported by wooden octagonal pillars surrounds the nave. The floor of this portico is a pebbles mosaic and it dates from 1851.
Inside the chapel, the image of the patron saint of Aller is venerated. It is made of stone and represents the crowned Virgin with the Child. It dates from the end of the 14th century - beginning of the 15th century.
