Basic details

Name: Saint Martino's Church
Description: It is a Romanesque church of the 12th century that was declared Heritage of Cultural Interest in 1982. It is believed that it is sited on Pre-romanesque remains, and it has suffered several changes that have altered its original appearance. Without any doubt, the most outstanding aspect is in the inside.
In the lateral South facade, elements characteristical of the Romanesque are collected, such as capitals with plant motifs or corbels with human and geometrical representations. But it is in the apse where we find the most characteristical and curious 'canecillos' with representations of varied themes such as an alchemical oven or a person with a wine barrel.
